All accommodation will be at Finca La Herradura, 7km from Orgiva in the Alpujarras. This is the location that hosts Banana Mountain as well as other regenerative and creative projects and processes.

Accommodation Options

1) Your own tent or vehicle

 

This option includes access to a shared camp kitchen, compost toilets, outdoor showers, and a rustic social space with plugs for charging devices. Please note we are fully off grid cannot offer electricity hook-ups for campers.

 

Cost: Included.

2) Glamping

 

4m canvas bell tent with two single beds, simple furniture, and solar lamps. Bedding is included with a sheet change offered at the end of the first week. This option includes access to a shared camp kitchen, compost toilets, outdoor showers, and a rustic social space with plugs for charging devices.

 

Cost: 20 € per tent per night

3) Modernised Off-Grid Farm Houses

We have three recently renovated traditional Alpujarran farm houses available. All three houses are old buildings built in the vernacular style, modernised to a high standard, and lovingly decorated in a unique boutique style featuring art from friends and art residents. All houses are fully off-grid but have a reliable electricity supply, flushing toilets, and unlimited hot water.

 

Photos of the top house before the most recent upgrades are provided below. The bottom and middle houses are renovated to the same standard. Photos coming soon.

Top House

 

Sleeps 8 in 4 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large open plan living room and dining room, well equipped kitchen, large shaded seating outside areas.

 

Cost: 200 € per night 

Middle House

 

Sleeps 4 in 1 double bedroom and 1 double sofa bed in living room. 1 bathroom, large open plan kitchen, dining room and living room, beautiful well equipped kitchen, large outdoor seating areas.

 

Cost: 100 € per night

Bottom House

 

Sleeps 4 in 1 double bedroom and 1 double sofa bed in living room. 1 bath room. Large open plan kitchen, dining room and living room, beautiful well equipped kitchen, and nice outdoor seating area with the amazing views.

 

Cost: 100 € per night

Please note that the campsite is a pop-up site created for events and as such is relatively rustic. If you are considering a family camp and a parent works remotely, please contact us to discuss your needs.

Please also be aware that the Finca is fully off grid. Apart from the houses, our facilities are rustic and humble. If you enjoy simple living in a breath taking natural environment, it will be perfect for you.

 

All income from accommodation goes directly to non profit association Union de Los Rios (which hosts and supports Banana Mountain). If you are able, please consider choosing paid accommodation as a way of contributing to our project.
